We are an established and successful restaurant, catering company,
and event venue, that sells an amazing product, and we cater to
high-end customers who want to create that "special event". We are
looking for a top-notch Special Events Sales Representative with
passion and heart who would like to join our team and be a part of
expanding our success.
--- This is a salary plus commission job with a higher commission
for higher performance. There is no limit on how much you can
--- Your earning potential is at least $63,000 with salary and
commission, assuming you meet minimum sales targets.--
--- Base Salary is between $45,000 and $50,000 depending upon
--- You must meet our minimum quarterly selling targets in three
months. First month is considered training period. After the first
month, you start earning commissions.
--- You earn between 1-3% regular commission based on your monthly
--- You earn an additional 1-2% bonus commission based on your
--- You get paid commission on payments received the previous month
or quarter, based on the commission tier you hit
1. 75% contribution to Group Health Insurance beginning first full
month of your employment. E.g., if you join on August 9 full-time,
your coverage will begin on September 1.
2. Seven days of PTO per year
i. You earn one day of PTO for every 8 weeks of work.
ii. You must use all your earned paid time off every calendar
iii. Earned paid-time-off has no cash value.
3. Five Federal Holidays off per year: New Year's Day, Independence
Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day
4. You can contribute to 401K as soon as you join. After 1 year of
the job, we match up to 4%.

If you are the Venue and Catering Sales Specialist we are looking
--- Have a "can do" attitude and are a go-getter!
--- Know how to build and nurture relationships with all types of
--- Excel at networking and relationship building with customers,
vendors, planners, and venues
--- Can manage the entire sales process: generate leads, handle
inquiries, follow up with potential clients in a timely manner,
meet with them, and convert them to sales
--- Have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and be
able to communicate with management, prospects, customers, vendors,
and event staff
--- Are organized, able to track your progress, and report your
success to management on a regular basis
--- Are comfortable with technology. We use lead management and
proposal generation software, and Softphones
--- Are a team player and willing and available to pitch in if a
need arises even if outside the purview of your role
Our ideal Venue and Catering Sales Specialist must be able to work
evenings and weekends, enjoy being a team player, have access to
reliable transportation, lift 50 pounds, and be able to stand for
long periods of time. Experience in private events, weddings, and
corporate sales is highly desired. A college degree is

--- Build relationships with the local community and
--- Grow our brand exposure by participating in wedding shows,
vendor showcases, and various industry events
--- Participate in client tastings, tours, and walkthroughs
--- Maintain effective communication and working relationships with
chefs and FOH staff
Must have relevant experience of 5+ years as a sales professional,
preferably in the hospitality field
Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing
Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication
Previous hospitality industry experience preferred but not
Knowledge of computer-based software such as Microsoft Word and
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field
