Reach Your Peak.A member of the Inventory Control Team plays an integral role in supporting stores, distribution centers, vendors, and internal departments across the US and Canada. Inventory Control is a high visibility, diverse, and challenging position that requires critical thinking and situational analysis skills. An extreme attention to detail is necessary for success.Day to day duties of the Inventory Control Team include (but are not limited to) inventory adjustments, transfer corrections, SKU research, cycle counts, cost corrections, retail store physical inventory support, on-hand reporting, problem solving, process evaluation, and heavy interdepartmental communication.The Inventory Control reports directly to the Accounting Group Manager. Team members will attend weekly meetings and larger group events. Engagement and participation is required.Job Responsibilities

• Attend and engage in team meetings
• Ensure inventory accuracy using Merchandise Management System (MMS)
• Decipher complex issues with little background information
• Support external teams stores, distribution centers, area and regional managers
• Support internal teams merchants, replenishment, accounts payable, operations, loss prevention, GL accounting, Sales Audit
• Assist with month-end account reconciliation
• Attend retail store physical inventory counts
• Conduct back end administrative work related to store physical inventory counts
• Provide field reporting as requested
• Provide monthly inventory metrics to senior leadership
• Ad-hoc reporting as requestedJob Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products
  • Knowledge of the PeopleSoft financials system, Merchandise Management System (MMS), and Aptos is strongly preferred
  • This individual must be a self-starter with a drive for excellence, able to build strong working relationships through the organization, and a proven ability to be a leader in a dynamic and changing environment
