We seek a -Float Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Hours: - -Full-Time Float role. Monday - Friday, will work an 8 hour shift between the business hours of 8am - 6pm.
Location: - -Home site located in Fort Collins, CO. Will be providing coverage to any sites that need in MT, WY, CO, and SD. Majority of sites are within driving distance from home site; if traveling farther distances, will be provided rental car, flights and hotel stay when needed.
Primary Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
  
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
  
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
  
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
  
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
  
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
  
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
  
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
  
• Other duties as assigned
  
• This is a float position, will be required to provide coverage at any sites needed in MT, WY, CO and SD (majority of sites are within driving distance from home site; if traveling farther distances, will be provided rental car, flights, and hotel stay and meals for prolonged stays)

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Colorado
    
  • 6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience
    
  • Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license
    
  • Ability to obtain Immunization Certification within 12 months of employment
    
  • Ability to provide coverage at any sites needed in MT, WY, CO and SD
    
  • Ability to obtain pharmacy technician license in WY, CO, and SD within 6 months of employment
    
  • Must reside in the state of Colorado
