The Role As part of the Mass Markets Finance team this role primarily focuses on delivering solutions that directly support the Finance organization and the wider business. We deliver highly available systems on cutting edge technology platforms. We are focused on continuous delivery to add value to our stakeholders in a fast paced but fun environment. In this role you will be responsible for the full development life cycle delivering both enhancements to existing systems along with the delivery of brand-new systems. The Main Responsibilities --- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owner, and other team members to build scalable enterprise applications - Back end services and APIs are written in Golang and Java - Front end/UI applications are developed using JavaScript, Ember JS, CSS - Deployment environment is Google Cloud Platform (GCP)--- Use best practices for code testing, automation, and CI/CD--- Refactoring and re-platforming existing services from the legacy internal cloud platform to GCP--- Be passionate about performance, testing, automation, and code quality--- Work in an Agile environment (Kanban) What We Look For in a Candidate --- Writing software for 2+ years using any of the following: Go, Java, and/or a modern JavaScript framework --- Working with Google Cloud Platform (1+ years)--- Building systems as microservices--- Working in an Agile environment --- Demonstrating self-sufficient problem solving --- Working well with a team and displaying strong business ethics--- Succeeding in an environment where some things stay the same while others are rapidly changing--- A Bachelors or Masters degree - preferably in a technical fieldRequisition #: 228240EEO Statement
