- Responsible for leading and preparing the Segment-level Flight
Operations, Ground Operations, and Mission Operations
activities
- Lead project execution
- Identify and propose improvements in processes, tools, system
solutions and technologies, rolling out improvements when agreed
with leadership team
- Review solutions developed by project teams and identify
opportunities for improvement
- Foster a collaborative team environment
- Actively engage with program teams to provide solutions
- Prepare technical documentationMust-haves: -
- Bachelor of Science degree in System Engineering or related
discipline and typically 14 (Fourteen) or more years of relevant
experience; higher education may be considered in lieu of
experience
- Relevant work experience may substitute for required
education
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices
- Knowledge of Flight Ops and Systems Architecture
development
- Knowledge of deriving requirements from CONOPS and Systems
Architectures
- Excellent organizational, self-initiative, and communication
skills
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary team
- Creative problem solver, able to offer visual solutions
- Familiar with Enterprise Architect
- Previous Requirements Management experience
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices
- Basic program management skills for scheduling and status
collection
- Excellent organizational, self-initiative, and communication
skills
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teamsPreferred: -
- Experience with leading baseline definition and maturation in a
complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade
studies and other measures
- Knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles, to
include, but not limited to requirements management, Model Based
System Engineering (MBSE)
- Experience or certification in INCOSE standards
- Background in human spaceflight
- Experience leading baseline definition and maturation in a
complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade
studies and other measures
- Ability to work with minimal information or direction to
formulate proposed plans for resolving design/requirement
solutions
- Experience presenting technical content and communicating
effectively
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be
