As an In-Home Care Specialist, you will be responsible for communicating caregivers' schedules to them with advance notice, responding to caregivers concerns via email, and communicating any necessary changes/requests with the caregiver and our BUC families. This person will need to problem solve unique situations, professionally represent the company internally and externally while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality. You will perform duties required to inform a caregiver of their schedule on a daily basis. You will be required to prioritize project work while balancing demands of new and existing care requests. Decision making will be required in some circumstances to anticipate demands and handle inquiries. As an In-Home Care Specialist, you will be responsible for all details pertaining to each case that is staffed. This position is responsible for the smooth running of our Bright Horizons at Home agencies. This position will work under the general direction of their supervisors.

What you will be doing in this role:

  • Accept new reservation case offer notifications from BUC families.

  • Search for appropriate caregivers to staff BUC cases using multiple systems for same day and future care requests.

  • Provide excellent customer service to BUC families regarding the status of their Bright Horizons at Home staffed cases.

  • Respond to caregiver, Office Manager, and BUC inquiries via email.

  • Update care reservations when necessary and advise caregivers and families of new and pertinent information regarding scheduled care.

  • Update caregivers scheduled availability as needed per the Office Manager's requests.

  • Maintain open communication with caregivers and the scheduling team regarding any ongoing issues or requests.

  • Manage and maintain electronic files.

  • Assist leadership with any special projects as needed.

What we hope you will bring to this role:

  • The position requires a minimum of 1 year customer service experience

  • BUC Inbound and Case Management experience is required

  • Individual must be proficient with all MS Office products and have strong familiarity with the Internet

  • Familiarity with staffing based on provided availability schedule

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times including under stress

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent phone manner

  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work at a fast pace

  • Must be both a strong team player and independent contributor

  • Ability to take initiative and self-direct required.

  • Problem solving skills for unique scenarios

The compensation for this role is $15.95 per hour.
