Job Description Job Description Description: Super Vacuum Manufacturing Company is an established, locally owned, family business that manufactures fire equipment and emergency vehicles that help our communities to save lives. We are looking for an energetic, self-starting Blade Grinder for our Fans Division. If you are interested in building equipment that helps save lives, please apply. Responsibilities: File or finish surfaces of workpieces, using prescribed hand tools. Fit parts together in preassembly to ensure that dimensions are accurate. Inspect, feel, and measure workpieces to ensure that surfaces and dimensions meet specifications. Monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are necessary; stop machines when problems occur. Remove and replace worn or broken machine parts, using hand tools. Remove finished workpieces from machines and place them in boxes or on racks; set aside pieces that are defective. Requirements: Able to contribute in a fast paced/team atmosphere Able to problem solve Good organizational skills Detail oriented Ability to follow instructions explicitly Able to work under pressure to achieve deadlines Must be able to adapt and excel in a fast-paced, high-energy, busy atmosphere.
