We believe when money moves, better things happen.*Relentless pursuit of Better*In this role you will -work on innovative, actionable and efficient technology solutions to drive front end channels (web, mobile apps, kiosk and APIs). - You will collaborate with Product Management to filter customer needs into use-cases and high-level requirements and identify suitable solutions. - You will ensure that infrastructure for products is architected and delivered according to plan, under budget and deployed successfully. - You will provide day-to-day technical leadership, guidance and mentoring to the web production team. - You will provide direction and guidance on solution designs and architecture to ensure appropriate fit within enterprise standards. - You will work with industry partners in integrating our systems with other applications or systems. - You will propose the most optimum technical solutions in order to drive industry "best in class" KPI results. - You will integrate new technologies into the Digital Ecosystem.For this role, you will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields with 8+ years of professional experience or MS with 6+ years of experience. Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, OOPs, and OOA/D. Demonstrated experience in modern programming languages (for example, Java/C++) and design patterns. You will also have extensive experience developing Microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring AOP, Oauth2 OIDC. Able to develop low latency, highly scalable Web Services, REST Services and leverage in-memory Caching. Knowledge expert in AWS Cloud platform, EC2, S3, EKS, Lambda, Cloud Watch, ELB/ALB/NLB. Experience in maintaining automated build and release channels using CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins/Spinnaker. Able to monitor tools like JProfiler, ELK, Splunk, Dynatrace and other tools like SOAP-UI, Postman and experience with performance testing and memory optimization. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union's total compensation package for employees.
