Job Description SummaryThe People Team Coordinator will be
responsible for providing support to the People Operations and
Total Rewards team. This role will serve as front-line for
employees and managers with inquiries varying in topic from
compliance, governance, policies, unemployment and other HR topics.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serves as the first point of contact for team member HR support
needs, communicates and interprets HR policies, procedures, and
programs
- Provide timely and reliable employee, management, and People
Team support
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or
requests and correspond to the appropriate person on the team or in
unit
- Coordinate and respond to Audit compliance inquiries for the
People Team partner with others in the team to provide
information
- Maintain employment poster compliance for all locations
- Support HRIS Analyst and Compensation Analyst with data related
items, reports and system projects as needed
- Tuition Reimbursement policy and processing
- Set up PO's for invoices and help with processing invoices for
our team
- Actively seek process improvements to help save time and create
more transparency in our daily processes
- Assist and support other HR functions and processes, including
performance management, training & development, legal and
regulatory compliance, payroll and other HR processes, programs,
and initiatives
- Research as needed and support other assigned functions
- Support other people team special projects, as required
- Coordinate processing of U.S. unemployment claims and act as
primary point of contact for U.S. employment verifications
- Maintain U.S. hardcopy employee personnel files including daily
filing, updating terminating employee records, and working with
off-site storage on a regular basis to securely move employee
records. Serve as project lead and coordinate the move of the
company's personnel records to a paperless on-line file system
Basic Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Associates degree in Human Resources, Business or a related
field preferred
- 1 + years working in Human Resources field preferred or
internship in Human Resources
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be
considered.
- Rigorous attention to detail and highly organized, with a high
degree of accuracy and follow-up skills
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Ability to work in team environment, possessing a sense of
accountability and urgency in completing assignments
- Solid Excel skills required
- Capable of handling multiple tasks while meeting various
deadlines
- Strong analytical skills, exercise some autonomy and
independent judgment and problem-solving skills with
discretion
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrates the ability to remain flexible with a knowledge of
self-management on task, and project execution.
- Excellent time and project management skills: demonstrate an
ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and to a
high degree of excellence
- Demonstrated flexibility, energy, and initiative in a
fast-paced, deadline-driven, unpredictable, and complex
environment
- A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its
impact on the company's success
- A high degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and

- Ability to maintain confidentiality
COMPENSATION:As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for
Equal Work Act, Viega provides a reasonable range of compensation
for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is
influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to,
skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For
the hires in the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay
for this role is $24.00 to $26.00 per hour.
