The Human Resources Generalist will handle a variety of HR tasks with strong emphasis in recruiting, benefits, leave maintenance, safety, performance and Human Resources reporting. This position works with employees throughout the organization, with a focus on the corporate office. The Human Resources Generalist will work closely with the CHRO in providing Human Resources services to the company in the areas of recruiting, benefit administration, company policies and procedures, safety and worker's compensation, performance management, training and development and federally required reporting. Position will partner with the Human Resources Specialist and Facilities Administrator for employee events and activities, and other misc. duties as to be cross trained in this area. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Recruiting of exempt and non-exempt positionsResponsible for the company internship programs.Benefit coordination including open enrollment.Benefit billing and audits.Administration of company leave programs.Administers various human resource plans and procedures; assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures; prepare and maintain internal documents such as the employee handbook.Responsible for federal and state required filings and OSHA log and reporting.Ownership of compliance records regarding employee paper and electronic HR files and related documentation as well as the integrity of the HRIS database in conjunction with the Human Resources Specialist.Assists in the reconfiguration of the company HRIS/ADP system.Supports the HR Specialist in ensuring HRIS data is accurate and complete.Responsible for organizing company Lunch and Learn sessions.Partner with the CHRO on performance management.Responsible for new hire orientation and new hire 90-day performance reviews.Responsible for employee offboarding, including exit interviews for exiting employees. Partner with the CHRO on employee relations.Partner with the CHRO in the roll-out of companywide training and succession planning programs.Ownership of the company safety programs, and worker's compensation return to work process.Work with employees at remote locations.Will serve as the backup for the Human Resources Specialist during any absence. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLSBS or BA degree with 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or equivalent education and experience.Superior interpersonal and communication skills - ability to thrive in a team environment Effective communication: Speaks to both technical and nontechnical audiences with ease.Initiative - ability to work and achieve objectives independently.Able to manage multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines.Prior HRIS experience helpful.Prior knowledge in compliance reporting helpful.Strong recruiting background with knowledge on TAM systems.Prior experience managing leaves.Prior benefit experience.Strong problem solving and process improvement skills and evaluative: Understands complex business issues and how to solve them through technology.Strong organizational skills. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None CERTFICATIONS (If applicable) PHR preferred WORK ENVIRONMENT A collaborative, open space work environment located on the first floor of the 40,000 sq. foot facility located in Broomfield, Colorado. The HR Generalist has their own office and desk space that faces West towards the Flatirons. The HR team has a shared file space. There are approximately 125 employees in the 40,000 sq. ft Broomfield corporate facility which houses a workout facility, multiple quiet telephone booths and a large employee breakroom for the employee's use.
