Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide expert technical care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures in a specialized Cath Lab setting. Support physicians with advanced equipment operation and assist in maintaining a high-quality, safe procedural environment. This travel position offers a 13-week assignment in a scenic mountain town, working day shifts on a 4x10 schedule with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare procedural rooms and equipment, ensuring all tools are in optimal working order. - Monitor patient condition throughout invasive cardiovascular procedures, providing both routine and emergency care. - Assist physicians during interventions using sophisticated imaging and hemodynamic monitoring technologies. - Maintain calm and clear communication with patients, families, and medical staff, fostering a professional and supportive atmosphere. - Participate in on-call rotations, responding within 30 minutes when required. - Support quality assurance initiatives and adhere strictly to HIPAA and safety standards. - Engage collaboratively with team members to enhance overall service effectiveness and patient outcomes. Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab environment strongly preferred. - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or ARRT-certified and registered. - Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications. - Competency with computer-based systems for training and documentation. - Proficient English communication skills, both verbal and written.
