qualifications will not be considered. Deliver critical nursing
care on a Stepdown Unit in a fast-paced acute care hospital
setting, focusing on managing patients requiring close monitoring
and specialized interventions. This contract position offers 36
guaranteed hours per week with a night shift schedule working three
12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM). The hospital is equipped with
EPIC charting and provides free parking to staff. Key
Responsibilities: Manage complex patient care including titration
of vasopressors, sedation medications, insulin drips, and advanced
life support devices such as trach vents, arterial lines, external
pacemakers, and chest tubes. Provide bedside care with strong
clinical judgment, maintaining safety and high standards within a
1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Adhere to hospital protocols and
utilize EPIC for accurate documentation. Float within your scope of
practice to other lower acuity floors as needed. Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience: Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum
of 2 years recent bedside experience (within last 6 months) on a
stepdown or similar unit. Current ACLS, BCLS, and NIH
certifications required. Ability to work night shifts with an every
other weekend weekend commitment (Friday/Saturday or
Saturday/Sunday). Flexibility to manage complex patient care
involving advanced monitoring and interventions. Pending licenses
within 75-mile radius accepted. Location:Florissant, MO offers a
