Medical Technologist Location: Longmont, CO Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $1,287 to $1,487 per week Shift Information: Evenings - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states. Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field as required by individual clients. Valid ASCP or AMT certification required. (Client requires ASCP or AMT.) In licensure states, laboratory licensure in the appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state. Minimum 2 years experience as a generalist including blood bank experience. EPIC experience preferred. Must be able to work alone with minimal shift overlap. Department-specific orientation required; orientation week attendance in-state is required. Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled. Phlebotomy not required. BLS not required. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Department: MLT - LUH (generalist role covering hematology/serology, chemistry/coag, blood bank; limited microbiology such as gram stains and rapid kit testing). Shift: Evenings, 1300-2100 (5x8). Shift pattern: Every other weekend required. Holiday coverage required. Shift notes: 1:00 p.m.–9:30 p.m. noted as an operational variant; 8-hour shifts. Orientation hours: 12. Schedule: Pre-determined with opportunity to pick up additional shifts. Must be comfortable working independently with minimal overlap. Radius requirement: Must be within 60 miles and have a valid driver’s license submitted. Clinicians may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
