Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in
Colorado, is seeking a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Medical
Sonographer Lead to join our dedicated team. Our organization
prioritizes patient-centered care, delivered through our numerous
hospitals and outpatient facilities. This role requires proficiency
in sonographic imaging and leadership skills to guide our
sonography team. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery
of high-quality diagnostic images, assist in staff training, and
maintain adherence to industry standards and safety regulations.
Operate and maintain sonography equipment to ensure clear, reliable
images for diagnostic purposes. Lead and manage the sonography
team, scheduling shifts, overseeing training, and ensuring
compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with physicians
and other healthcare staff to discuss patient conditions and
results. Support the implementation of new techniques and
technologies within the imaging department. Ensure the safety and
comfort of patients during sonographic examinations. Maintain
records and reports of procedures according to departmental
guidelines. Proven expertise in sonographic imaging and patient
care. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to troubleshoot and
maintain complex diagnostic equipment. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered
Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
