Job Description:

UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care Medical Unit for night shifts. Located in Colorado, UCHealth is a nonprofit health care system focused on delivering the highest level of patient-centered care across multiple hospitals and outpatient facilities. This role entails providing supportive and therapeutic care within a dynamic and supportive environment, adhering to the highest standards of medical treatment, and enriching lives of patients with acute medical conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient reactions. Perform detailed patient assessments and coordinate care plans with the healthcare team. Provide immediate medical care during emergencies, including CPR if needed. Educate patients and their families on managing illnesses or injuries and post-hospital treatment. Ensure adherence to all hospital and government health regulations and safety standards. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Advanced knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures.
