UCHealth is looking for a dedicated and skilled Radiography Technologist I to join our team at our state-of-the-art facilities across Colorado. As a Radiography Technologist I, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-rays, maintaining high standards of patient care, and adhering to safety protocols. This role is a vital component of our medical team, helping to diagnose and monitor various conditions. Operate and maintain radiologic imaging equipment safely and effectively. Prepare patients for radiographic exams, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort. Adjust imaging equipment and adjust controls to obtain clear, appropriate images. Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations involving the use of radiation to protect self, patients, and colleagues. Maintain patient records and radiographic equipment. Proficient in the use of radiographic equipment Strong understanding of radiation safety and protection practices Excellent patient management and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Current state licensure required
