UCHealth, a renowned leader in medical services throughout Colorado, is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our nighttime team in the Medical Unit. This position involves providing top-quality, compassionate care to patients during night shifts. Our nurses are integral to our mission of delivering patient-centered healthcare, supported by the latest in medical technology and a collaborative team environment. Administer medications and treatments to patients and monitor their response. Record patient medical information and vital signs. Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on illness prevention and health maintenance during night shifts. Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations or treatments. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Ability to work independently and make accurate decisions in stressful situations Proficient in using healthcare software and systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capacity to handle multiple patients and multitask with detailed precision Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
