Job Description:

UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare organization in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) to join our night shift team. This position is crucial in providing top-tier, compassionate nursing care to patients with varying degrees of heart conditions in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate is someone passionate about cardiac care and skilled in managing complex patient needs in a dynamic setting. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor cardiac and other critical vital signs and detect any changes, enabling timely intervention. Administer medications, maintain accurate patient records, and communicate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal care. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens, including medication and pain management techniques. Proficiency in EKG interpretation Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Ability to work effectively under pressure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license BLS/CPR certification ACLS certification preferred
