Job Description:
UCHealth invites you to join our expanding team as a Travel RN
Operating Room. This role is critical to our continued commitment
to providing the highest standard of care in our state-of-the-art
healthcare facilities across Colorado. The ideal candidate will be
a compassionate professional with extensive experience in
perioperative nursing, committed to delivering exceptional patient
care in dynamic and fast-paced environments. You will collaborate
with a talented team of medical experts to maintain optimal
operating room efficiency and uphold our standards of excellence in
both routine and complex surgical procedures. Provide preoperative,
intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care to surgical
patients. Prepare operating rooms for surgery including
sterilization, layout of surgical instruments, and ensuring
equipment functionality. Monitor and ensure patient safety during
surgical procedures. Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists,
and other surgical personnel. Manage patient recovery and
post-surgical care in collaboration with other healthcare
professionals. Document patient care services by charting in
patient and department records. Ensure compliance with healthcare
regulations and standards. Expertise in managing and prioritizing
multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Extensive knowledge of
aseptic and sterilization techniques. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills with patients, families, and team members.
Ability to operate standard medical and surgical equipment. Medical

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of
Colorado. BLS/CPR certification. ACLS certification preferred.
