This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of care and precision in our surgical units across multiple hospitals and outpatient facilities. As a Surgical Technologist II, you will work directly with surgical teams, assisting in operations, ensuring all procedures follow safety protocols, and enhancing patient outcomes through efficient practice. Prepare and organize sterile equipment and ensure operation rooms are ready for surgery Assist surgeons during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection Perform counts of sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation Operate sterilizers, lights, or suction machines, and help operate diagnostic equipment Assist in the preparation, care for, and disposal of specimens taken for laboratory analysis Quickly respond to surgical team needs and patient emergencies Proficiency in sterile technique and infection control Ability to handle surgical instruments with agility and accuracy Strong understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Capability to respond under high-pressure situations Skill in utilizing modern surgical technology Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
