Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac
ICU Fellowship program, dedicated to advancing skills in the
specialization of cardiac care at our state-of-the-art facilities.
As a leading Colorado-based, nonprofit health care system, UCHealth
offers innovative care structured around the needs of our patients
across multiple hospitals and outpatient facilities. This
fellowship provides a rigorous and immersive experience designed to
foster professional growth and elevate patient care in a highly
supportive and technologically advanced environment. Provide
comprehensive nursing care to cardiac ICU patients in a high-acuity
setting. Participate in educational workshops, simulations, and
hands-on training under the guidance of senior ICU nurses and other
health professionals. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to
implement patient-centered care plans. Monitor patient conditions
continuously and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Engage in
quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes and unit
efficiency. Support patients and their families, providing
information and reassurance during critical treatment phases.
Strong clinical skills related to cardiovascular diseases and ICU
care. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful
environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using medical technologies and electronic health
records. Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado.
BLS/CPR certification required upon hire. ACLS certification
preferred, or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
