Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. A full-time, on-site Occupational Therapy role is available at a school in Colorado Springs, CO, offering a year-round contract position. This role is designed for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), provided there is a licensed OT on the team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in school-based occupational therapy to support student needs within the school environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students in a school setting Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Conduct assessments and evaluations related to students' functional abilities and educational goals Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory requirements Participate in team meetings, IEP planning, and ongoing professional development Desired Qualifications: Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with supervision by an OT Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff Ability to work full-time, on-site throughout the full academic year Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado This is a contract position requiring full-time, on-site work for the entire school year. Candidates with school-based occupational therapy experience will be especially competitive, and COTA applicants are encouraged if paired with an OT.
