UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the specialized RN Fellowship program focused on Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Medical-Surgical (Med Surg), and Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role is tailored for nurses looking to advance their knowledge and skills in these critical care areas, offering a unique opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic healthcare environment. Provide comprehensive nursing care in the ICU, Med Surg, and PCU settings following best practices and standards. Participate in educational sessions and supervised rotations in each specialty unit to gain diverse clinical experience. Monitor patient progress and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to optimize patient care plans. Participate in the research and implementation of new patient care protocols and standards. Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and progress within electronic health record systems. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of basic and advanced clinical practices in critical care settings Proficient in using healthcare technology and patient information systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado BLS Certification ACLS Certification preferred CCRN Certification for critical care is a plus
