Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to
join our dynamic team in Colorado. Our non-profit health system is
renowned for delivering patient-centered care across our extensive
network of hospitals and outpatient facilities. The ideal candidate
will be an integral part of our radiology department, responsible
for conducting magnetic resonance imaging scans to help in
diagnoses and treatment. This role requires a combination of
technical expertise, compassionate patient care, and a rigorous
adherence to safety protocols to ensure optimal outcomes for our
patients. Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images
according to physician's orders. Ensure the comfort and safety of
patients during procedures. Prepare and position patients
accurately for diagnostic imaging. Maintain accurate patient
records and maintain confidentiality of all information. Comply
with all safety protocols related to MRI procedures, including the
use of protective equipment. Assist radiologists with procedure
planning and image interpretation as needed. Perform routine
maintenance checks to ensure MRI equipment is functioning properly.
Engage in continual education to stay abreast of technological
advancements in the field. Proficiency in operating MRI scanning
equipment. Excellent patient care and communication skills. Strong
attention to detail for precise imaging. Ability to troubleshoot
and resolve technical issues with the equipment. Knowledge of
safety protocols and procedures specific to MRI. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification
by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid
state licensure as a radiologic technologist, if applicable.
