Job Description:

UCHealth, a leading nonprofit health care system based in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel RN for our OR Float Pool. This position will offer the unique opportunity to work across multiple UCHealth facilities, providing critical support and expertise in Operating Room (OR) environments. As a member of our team, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality care and ensuring patient safety during surgical procedures. This role requires adaptability, a high level of skill, and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced and evolving healthcare setting. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons and registered nurses. Adjust to varying work environments and assignments in different UCHealth facilities. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, using computerized documentation systems. Implement and monitor compliance with health and safety policies and procedures. Participate in ongoing educational activities to stay abreast of innovations in the field of surgical nursing. Proficiency with OR instrumentation and procedures Strong adaptability to varying clinical settings Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
