Job Description:
Join UCHealth as a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Progressive Care
Unit (PCU) and contribute to our mission of providing
patient-centered care across Colorado. As part of our dedicated
night team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality
care to patients who require close monitoring and frequent
assessment, but who are not unstable enough to need ICU care. Our
nurses are supported with state-of-the-art technology and a
collaborative team environment in our multiple hospitals and
outpatient facilities. This role requires a detail-oriented,
compassionate approach to nursing and offers the opportunity to
work in a dynamic and challenging setting where patient care is at
the forefront of everything we do. Monitor and assess patients in
the Progressive Care Unit. Administer medications and treatments as
prescribed and monitor responses. Work with interdisciplinary teams
to facilitate patient care and recovery. Maintain detailed patient
records and participate in rounds. Educate patients and their
families on treatment plans and health management. Ensure
compliance with hospital policies and nursing best practices.
Strong clinical skills in a progressive care or step-down unit.
Expertise in EKG interpretation, titrating IV medications, and
managing patient care equipment. Proficiency in electronic medical
records systems. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Colorado. BLS and ACLS certification required.
