Job Description:

UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care Medicine Health Services team for night shifts. As part of one of Colorado’s premier nonprofit health care systems, you will work closely with a team of medical professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients with various medical conditions. This role requires a strong ability to adapt to dynamic environments, a patient-focused approach, and exceptional clinical skills. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals. Administer medications, monitor patient recovery and progress, and educate patients and their families on aftercare instructions. Maintain patient records with accuracy and update healthcare team on patient status. Adhere to hygiene standards and infection control measures. Handle patient emergencies and provide necessary immediate care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate comprehensive patient care. Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage multiple patients Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficiency in electronic health record systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
