As a Travel RN specializing in Medical Office Cardiac Surgery, you will collaborate with leading cardiac surgeons and a dedicated medical team to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role involves supporting pre-operative and post-operative care within clinic settings, ensuring seamless coordination and comprehensive patient support. Assist cardiac surgeons during clinic hours by preparing patients for surgery, providing post-operative care, and ensuring detailed patient follow-ups. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to establish and follow care plans tailored to patients' surgical needs. Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and document treatment in patient medical records. Educate patients and their families about pre-surgery preparation and post-surgery care. Ensure adherence to all clinic policies, along with state and federal regulatory requirements. Strong cardiac care knowledge Excellent patient management skills Ability to perform under stressful situations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado BLS Certification ACLS Certification Specialty certification in cardiac nursing (CRN) is preferred
