Scottsbluff, NE Position Overview The Oncology/Infusion RN provides
specialized nursing care to patients receiving chemotherapy,
infusion therapies, and supportive treatments in an outpatient
oncology setting. This role focuses on safe treatment delivery,
close monitoring, and patient and family education throughout the
cancer care journey. Location & Schedule Location: Scottsbluff, NE
Department: Infusion / Oncology Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM
5:00 PM Position Type: 13-week contract Anticipated Start Date:
1/12/2026 Key Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy, biologics,
blood products, and other infusion therapies in accordance with
provider orders and established protocols. Assess patient status
and treatment response, intervening and communicating changes to
providers as needed. Monitor for, recognize, and manage
infusion-related side effects and complications. Educate patients
and families on treatment plans, medications, symptom management,
and safety precautions. Document assessments, interventions, and
outcomes accurately in the EMR (Epic). Adhere to departmental
policies, oncology safety standards, and institutional quality
expectations. Required Qualifications & Skills Active, unrestricted
RN license in the state of Nebraska. Current BLS certification
required. ONS or ANCC oncology certification preferred. Prior
oncology or infusion nursing experience preferred but not strictly
required. Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient
education skills. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians,
pharmacists, and the multidisciplinary oncology team. Core
