Respiratory Therapist at UCHealth summary: A Respiratory Therapist provides specialized respiratory care and airway management in a technologically complex clinical setting. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based patient care, while supporting continuous learning and clinical improvement initiatives. Certification, state licensure, and advanced life support training are required to ensure high-quality and safe respiratory therapy services. Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, US:CO:Aurora Department: Respiratory Care Main FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Pay: $31.61 - $47.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Minimum Requirements: • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. • Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). • State licensure • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. • NRP obtained within 1 year if assigned to NICU; tracked on unit. • PALS within 1 year if assigned to ED; tracked on unit. • Advanced Cardiac Life Support • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
