A specialized opportunity in operating room nursing is available for experienced Registered Nurses with charge experience in a dynamic hospital setting in Littleton, CO. This contract position focuses on delivering exceptional perioperative care within a Level II trauma center environment known for its advanced surgical procedures and supportive team culture. Key Responsibilities include: Providing leadership as an OR Charge Nurse, coordinating nursing staff and workflow efficiently. Utilizing expertise in trauma care to support Level II trauma patients. Assisting in a variety of surgical cases, including General, Neuro/Spine, Cardiovascular Thoracic (CVT), Orthopedics, Gynecology, and Robotics. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Managing patient ratios typical of a 2:1 assignment in a fast-paced operating room setting. Documenting clinical activities using Meditech EMR to maintain accurate patient records. Qualifications: Current RN licensure with demonstrated experience in Operating Room nursing. Proven charge nurse experience in an OR setting. Familiarity with Level II trauma center protocols strongly preferred. Strong communication skills and adaptability to fast-changing clinical environments. Ability to work Friday through Monday shifts with flexibility.
