Job Overview The Acute Care Cardiovascular Thoracic PCU RN role offers a high level of autonomy in direct patient care, utilizing evidence-based models and working closely with Clinical Educators to provide individualized education and training. This position involves providing top-of-scope practice on specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units of moderate to high patient acuity. You will be responsible for delivering direct care that meets the needs of each patient, while also contributing to the development and implementation of unit-specific policies and procedures. Evidence-Based Practice: Utilize current research and best practices to guide your decision-making and delivery of patient care. Clinical Judgment: Demonstrate sound clinical judgment in assessing patients' conditions, developing plans of care, and implementing interventions as needed.
