Job Title: Travel RN - Tele Surgical Transplant Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: Must-Have: Med/Surg/Telemetry Experience Experience caring for patients with Heparin gtts and PCA s Description: This position is for a Travel RN in a Telemetry unit that specializes in surgical transplant patients. The unit has 34 beds and approximately 50 staff members. Patient ratios are typically 1:3-4. Nights will consist of 1 Charge RN and 2 PCTs daily. The RN numbers may vary depending on patient census but will maintain a ratio of 1:3-4. Type of equipment available includes bladder scanners, mobilabs, EKG machines, AccuVein, virtual sitter cameras, W.O.Ws, and various lifts. The Electronic Medical Record system used is Meditech. Candidates must have experience in Med/Surg/Telemetry. Experience in Stepdown/PCU and with solid organ transplants is preferred. The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
