Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse Profession: Nursing

3x12s Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year
clinical experience required License: Licensed as a Registered
Nurse in the state Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
required Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) required Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required Must-Have: Must possess, or be
able to obtain within 90 days, the computer skills necessary to
complete online learning requirements for job-specific
competencies. Description: This position is responsible for caring
for antepartum patients. It involves laboring patients through
childbirth, recovery, and postpartum. The role includes lactation
education and assistance. The nurse provides family-centered care,
including care for the well newborn and in a Level 2 Nursery.
Expert, compassionate, individualized nursing care for patients and
families is expected. Collaboration with providers, staff, and
other team members is essential to achieve optimal patient
outcomes.
