Posting Specifics
Pay Range: $37.46 - $57.80 hourly (DOE) + $10/hr float
differential

Shift Details: Variable
Hours: Full Time (36 hours)
Additional Details: Shift differentials given for evenings, nights
and weekends
System Float Pool is part of Intermountain Health a nonprofit
healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care.
Caregivers who join our Float Pool enjoy assignments at locations
throughout the Denver area. Our hospitals in the Denver area
include:
Good Samaritan Medical Center - Lafayette
Lutheran Medical Center - Wheat Ridge
Platte Valley Medical Center - Brighton
Saint Joseph Hospital - Denver
Scope:
Produce high quality ultrasound images and obtain appropriate
measurements for each exam.
Recognize the sonographic appearance of normal and abnormal tissue
structures and provide the best image quality for
documentation.
Document all applicable patient and procedure data consistently and
correctly.
Obtain and evaluate pertinent patient history and physical findings
that may affect the sonographic examination.
Explain procedures adequately to patients to maximize patient
comfort and cooperation.
Monitor during all phases of procedure with special care taken to
insure patient emotional and physical well-being.
Communicate patient information in a professional and courteous
manner to patients and to referring physician offices as
required.
Qualifications:
ARRT Registry or ARDMS Registry. The ARDMS must include successful
completion of one registry pertinent to the department beyond
physics (options include OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, and,
vascular).
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), highly preferred
American Heart Association - Basic life support (BLS) certification
for healthcare providers, required.
Minimum of two (2) years of related sonography experience, highly
preferred

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly
rate dependent upon experience.
$28.15 - $43.42
