You will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities in the fields of engineering. We will also rely on you to provide design, research, and development in these fields. Responsibilities Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed timelines/plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities Position has the responsibility to continuously improve the performance of the engineering department through the use of continuous incremental improvements principles, specific projects, functional employee development, and continual evaluation of performance over time Provide engineering guidance throughout development, construction, project commissioning, and operations, including proposals, technical reports, cost estimates, and presentations Skills Empower engineers to drive technical decisions Drive technical implementation timelines in a fast-paced environment Be accountable for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects Attract top talent and help hire a great team Collaborate with PMs to improve and implement product vision Be part of a close-knit engineering team that ships new code every day Care deeply about and/or contribute to open source Identify trends and champion best practices Knowledge and practice of Test Driven Development Familiar with modern development frameworks [Node JS, Spring] Good working knowledge of Git (branch, rebase, cherry-pick etc) Comprehension of Agile development practices and continuous software delivery processesby Jobble
