ABOUT THE ROLE - The Account Manager will be a key member of the
Americas sales team focused on developing and executing Target
Account Sales Plans in pursuit of growing our business with a
select list of electric utility organizations, tier-one
communication companies and engineering service providers that
serve them - The Role -
- Arrange introductory call with new warm leads.
- Arrange technical demonstrations of our solution via the
web.
- Demonstrate the value of our solution through Solution
Selling
- Manage documentation MSA, credit application, DaaS agreement,
Quote and statement of work.
- Manage and forecast pipeline / opportunities.
- Manage and forecast RCCP Rough Cut Capacity Plan
- Build a sustainable long-term relationship with clients.
- Reaching out to potential new prospects SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- REQUIRED: 3+ years sales experience in GIS, electric utilities
or telecommunications (5G, Fiber, OSP)
- REQUIRED: A proven track record of building customer
relationships (prior account manager or sales account executive
experience)
- REQUIRED: Availability to travel (up to 10% of the time)
although will mostly be inside sales responsibilities
- Experience selling in telecommunications, electric utility
departments or Engineering Service Providers responsible for fiber
and wireless deployments preferred.
- Experience with Esri and/or GIS solutions is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
- Highly effective communication and presentation skills that
work at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to align solutions with customer problems and uncover
motivations to buy.
- Experience researching and understanding what drives
prospective buyers.
- Ability to develop, write and promote succinct buying
visions.
- Experience with managing a sales funnel and delivering accurate
forecasts.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills applied toward
leveraging IKE resources and eliminating sales barriers.
- Ability to be a strong qualifier of leads.
- Professional approach and strong interpersonal, written, and
verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively
present concepts and ideas to prospects.
- Bachelor's Degree or related work experience equivalent -
