Division CFO, Space Destinations, you will provide oversight to
financial reporting and controls to preserve company assets and to
oversee daily financial management operations. You'll partner with
the company's Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Management team
to set long-term strategy and annual financial goals. This division
CFO will work closely with the GM for Space Destinations to ensure
the profitable and successful commercialization of space. You'll
integrate financial strategies, develop, and implement a strategic
plan for business growth and look for ways to improve the
profitability, efficiency/effectiveness, and compliant practices of
the organization. You'll also collaborate with corporate management
to develop and implement optimum cash forecast and capital
structure, provide critical financial and operational data to the
CFO and Executive leadership team, and make actionable
recommendations on both strategy and operations. You'll work with
internal teams to develop a detailed annual budget with yearly
objectives and performance metrics and maintain effective
communication and collaboration with Corporate Functional leaders
specifically around strategic M&A and people initiatives.Sierra
Space, based in Louisville, Colorado with operations in Madison,
Wisconsin and Durham, North Carolina, and Kennedy Space Center,
Florida, designs and manufactures advanced spacecraft, satellites,
propulsion and environmental systems, spacecraft subsystems and
components for the U.S. government (including NASA), commercial

--- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a
related field of study
--- A higher level degree may substitute for experience
--- Relevant work experience may substitute for required
education
--- Advanced knowledge and understanding of accounting, tax,
government, and financial reporting requirements for internal and
external customers
--- Expert knowledge of principles and practices associated with
GAAP, FAR, cost management, treasury management, finance, and
systems
--- Strong business analytical skills with experience interpreting
financial data and preparing financial reports and/or
projections
--- Proven leadership abilities inclusive of successful change
management, mentoring, career development, training, succession
planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly
reviews
--- Mastery of the ability to manage complex situations, delegate
authority, lead and inspire teams, drive innovative thinking,
instill collaboration, drive for success, challenge status quo and
demonstrate ability to adapt to dynamic situations
--- Proven experience and skills in team building, time management,
conflict resolution, communication, briefing, presentation,
strategic thinking, and literacy in the program management
disciplines
--- Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly
express concepts in verbal and written forms; ability to tailor
conversations to adapt to varying audiences
--- Ability to navigate change and uncertainty, make defensible
decisions in ambiguity and own those decisionsPreferred:
--- 15-20 years of relevant experience
--- Domestic and international involvement
--- Prior experience directing continuous process improvement and
quality improvement initiatives
--- Experience with one or more of the following three:
o Multi-site environments
o Advanced skills in assessing external competition by gathering
data from multiple, often disparate, qualitative, and quantitative
sources, and synthesizing it into meaningful reports and
presentations
o Previous management experience including the ability to
effectively assign, direct, and evaluate employee work; and oversee
the development and maintenance of staff competence
--- Demonstrated passion for ideation, intellectual curiosity, and
innovation, as well as motivating others to act by creating a
shared sense of vision or purpose
--- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and understand
complex technical and program interdependencies
--- Proven long-term and strategic perspective that extends beyond
the immediate initiatives; visualizes and articulates a clear
direction
--- Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)/Defense
Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) and Cost Accounting
Standards (CAS) compliance
--- The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be

Starting Salary Range: $246,117.71 - $338,411.86Sierra Space offers
