You will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
You will be responsible for supporting our financial planning process, reporting on KPIs and financial results, and leveraging financial modeling to support strategic initiatives.
A strong work ethic, high professional standards, and the capacity to get things done independently and with limited oversight are essential for this role.The compensation -for this position will be $137,000 - $145,000 annually.Aktiv Pharma Group offers a wealth of benefits to our employees and their families.Employee Benefits Include:

              • This position will be on location, but flexible work arrangements -can be discussed. -Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
                • Be a strategic advisor to various departments to assist in understanding key drivers and influence business decisions to improve growth and drive efficiencies.
                • Own end-to-end accountability on spend decisions by working closely with internal accounting team and budget owners across the organization.
                • Develop financial models from scratch to support strategic initiatives.
                • Proactively monitor and analyze trends of key operational and financial performance indicators.
                • Own preparation of various presentations to the Executive Team
                • Lead FP&A activities around monthly reporting, company model actualization, variance commentary, forecasting, etc. -
                • Lead various portions of annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and monthly reporting processes to deliver predictable financial results, early warning of potential gaps and timely identification and implementation of corrective action.
                • Advocate and implement FP&A best practices, driving efficiency and reporting accuracy through process improvement and system implementation.
                • Other duties as required and necessary to ensure the success of the organization.Job QualificationsCompetencies, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
                  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, ideally FP&A will have experience at least one of the following: Pharmaceutical company, Medical device company, Equity Research, Venture Capital, or Private Equity firm VC / PE
                  • A curious and highly analytical approach to problem solving.
                  • An ability to extract business insights from analysis. -
                  • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills
                  • A strong understanding of GAAP
                  • The ability to distill and simplify complex financial concepts for all individual contributors, people leaders, and executives.
                  • A desire to build processes that scale and take initiatives to completion.
                  • A history of building trust and effective cross-functional collaboration, but can challenge when necessaryExperience and Education:
                    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field required
                    • At least five years of Finance experience required.
                    • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis. -Powered by JazzHR
