Maintain impeccable levels of cleanliness. Ensure cost controls are in place. Provide assitance and guidance to Engineering department as needed.Salary range for this position (based on experience): $75,000-$85,000/year. Full Time Associates at Omni Interlocken Resort are entitled to elect the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits, Paid Maternity Leave, 401k and Paid Time Off Accrual. Omni Interlocken Resort reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.Responsibilities:Maintain standards of cleanliness and a consistent guest experience as documented by AAA 4-Diamond and ability to execute all Omni Hotels facility standards and guidelines.To ensure a smooth, efficient, and economic operation in the Housekeeping and Laundry departments. To specify and purchase supplies, and record all data pertaining to the Housekeeping and Laundry departments.To assist in monitoring the preventative Maintenance program throughout the hotel.To maintain a highly motivated and trained staff that continually strives for excellence in service and cleanliness.Constantly monitor and control all labor cost for Housekeeping and Laundry departments, achieving targeted payroll.To maintain Housekeeping and Laundry turnover to an acceptable level.To maintain close coordination, communication, and interaction with front desk, to ensure rooms are available for sale, and with Engineering to ensure guest rooms and all public areas interior and exterior are at peak operative levels.Close coordination and communication with other internal departments.Directly control the issuance and retrieval of associate uniforms.Directly control the key control program for all Housekeeping associates.Monitor all guest requests to ensure they are met within prescribed time limits.Inspect and tour all public areas.Inspect all VIP rooms.Monitor guest's complaints accordingly and take corrective action when necessary.Maintain and administer monthly linen inventories, responsible for action plans to address shrinkage.Assist with budget process as required by Director of Operations.Develop master cleaning schedules and administer accordingly.Monitor all Housekeeping inventories to ensure adequate supplies are available, complete analysis of amenity consumption.To ensure hotel, guest and associate are maintained in a safe and secure environment.Knowledge of hotel facilities and events.Assist and oversee the cleanliness of the Spa, Fitness Center, and Golf Clubhouse.Partner with and provide guidance to Engineering department as needed.Qualifications:Exceptional guest service skills.Strong attention to detail.Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment.Remain calm and professional at all times.Be able to make quick decisions and possess good judgment.Knowledge of Laundry equipment and operations.Previous experience in a large 4-diamond property.Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performanceMust be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidaysMove, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion.
