$5,250/yearSummary/Objective:The Manager Collateral Lending
Operations is responsible for leading the Collateral Management
area of Lending Operations. This position oversees the servicing
team for business and consumer loan collateral servicing,
safekeeping and records management. This manager leads, trains, and
develops a team of employees responsible for collateral
activities.Essential Functions:
- File Management:
- Manages the maintenance and storage of digital and physical
consumer and business documentation and credit files.
- Establishes procedures and works closely with internal
department managers.
- Oversees and supervises workflow and priorities within the team
including the imaging of loans, assisting with QA processes, and
management of non-imaged files.
- Assists other team members when help is needed to complete
daily work and is primary back-up in absence of staff.
- Collateral Management:
- Proactively contact and work with members, dealers, and tax
office personnel as necessary.
- Manage payoff request process.
- Release recorded documents held for collateral.
- Works with other business lines to ensure accuracy of data and
ensure lien perfection.
- Audits:
- Functions as the primary contact for files associated with
specific audits. This includes coordinating file movement- both
digital and physical in and out of area as well as timely follow up
on issues regarding these audits.
- Oversee quality control review of consumer loan documents and
loan bookings processed by others for accuracy and
completeness.
- Miscellaneous:
- Implicit to the role is being a collaborative team player with
strong relationship management, customer service and communications
skills.
- Attracts, develops and retains a staff of Lending Services
Operations Specialists.

- Direct loan operations activities to meet established goals and
appropriate turnaround time to meet regulatory requirements for
time sensitive activities.
- Monitor service reports, while maintaining a working knowledge
and understanding of monthly goals, to include daily tracking and
the action necessary to meet those goals.

- Develops, gains acceptance of and implements lending procedures
and business processes.
- Evaluate business processes and make necessary changes to daily
procedures and process controls as appropriate.
- May provide User Acceptance Testing on the loan System based on
new products and/or processes
- Oversees the member experience by assessing member and employee
feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement, researching
and resolving complex problems to ensure customer service
excellence.
- Evaluates and participates in decisions regarding system
selections, changes, and activities.
- Research and resolve standard to complex issues, customer
transactions, and special projects as needed.
- Adheres to all applicable Federal and State laws and
regulations governing the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy
Act (BSA).Reports to: VP Lending OperationsManages:Collateral
SpecialistsRequired Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or G. E. D. required
- Minimum 2 years' leadership experience
- Minimum 2 years' consumer loan operations experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills.

others

delegatePreferred Education and Experience:College degree preferred

midpoint of the budgeted range is $58,140 to $72,675 + annual
bonus. The candidate's starting salary will be adjusted based upon
