The Role We are looking for a dynamic, seasoned communications professional who will lead a variety of internal communications initiatives for the newly formed Customer Success (CS) organization. The Lead Communications Manager ? Customer Success is part of our Corporate Communications team and is charged with creating and amplifying strategic communications programs that support Customer Success as an organization and a mindset. The Communications team at Lumen is responsible for designing, developing and implementing cutting-edge communication strategies that drive desired behaviors and deliver business results. As a Lead Communications Manager ? Customer Success,you will be responsible for leading communications for the Customer Success organization. This includes communications strategy development and delivery for key CS programs and events to drive employee understanding and engagement. This role will also support Customer Experience and executive communications within the Customer Success organization. The Main Responsibilities Lead key internal Customer Success communications programs, which include developing comprehensive, integrated communication strategies that support the direction of the organization?s goals.Consult with key stakeholders ? including CS Program Managers, CS Enablement Managers and CS leaders ? applying proper CS context to ensure relevancy and value on timely, results-driven communication strategies and tactics.Influence and make decisions regarding the most appropriate communications channel based on priority, complexity, targeted audience, etc.Tell an articulate, relevant, compelling story aligned to business priorities and our customer-centric culture. Lead planning, scheduling, hosting, execution and follow-up of key Customer Success events including CS Hour, CS Leader Hour and other CS events. Manage development and delivery of regular, targeted CS communications. Research, write and distribute internal communications, ensuring written and spoken communications are consistent with the CS role and model.Collaborate with and influence key business partners (i.e., Sales Enablement, North America Enterprise Sales, individual sellers) to bring a thoughtful, informed view to communications planning and execution.Assess and potentially enhance key communications platforms and channels to ensure use of best practices to drive messaging and campaign success. Partner closely with External/Media team, Social team and Multimedia Communications Center to cross-promote timely and relevant content to CS and Sales and/or all Lumen employees.Demonstrate savvy understanding of social, external and operational linkages to internal messaging.Measure success of communications programs and/or vehicles and manage stakeholder reporting.
