Clean Harbors, a leader in North America for providing environmental, energy, and industrial services, seeks an OTR (Over-the-Road) Owner Operator to enhance our transportation logistics. This position involves long-haul transport of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, ensuring timely and safe delivery while complying with federal and state regulations. Our OTR Owner Operators play a critical role in our commitment to protect the environment by managing waste transportation efficiently and responsibly. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work independently on routes while supported by a company that values safety, sustainability, and exceptional service. Safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to designated locations. Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations and company policies. Maintain detailed logs of working hours and vehicle service and repair status, adhering to state and federal requirements. Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and perform minor repairs as needed. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customer service teams to confirm delivery schedules and conditions. Manage routing decisions to ensure cost-efficient, timely, and safe deliveries. Adapt to changes in scheduling or routes efficiently In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. Proficient in the use of electronic logging devices (ELDs). Ability to handle physical workload and secure cargo safely. Effective communication and navigation skills. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Medical Insurance Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement. DOT physical examination certification. Clean driving record.
