Lead Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a member of the Program Level
(ART), responsible for facilitating Program/ART Level processes and
execution. Support resolution to Program/ART level impediments,
manage risk, and supports continuous improvement across the ART.
Understands the Features within their ART and supports the
orchestration for cross ART Feature dependency management. Has a
broad understanding of the relationships and impacts of critical
Program/ART stakeholder impacted by the Features and value
realization. Is able to effectively manage impediments and risks
with minimal supervision. The Main Responsibilities * * Facilitates
PI and Readiness - Aggregate Team PI Objectives into Program PI
Objectives. Verifies and manages dependencies identified on the
Program Board. Facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) Sync. Escalate
and track impediments. * Ensure strategy and execution alignment -
Assigned to work with Layer 3 and below stakeholders. Work with
Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help
ensure strategy and execution alignment. Provides transparency
around historical Feature throughput to ensure a reasonable amount
of work is brought to PI Planning. Supports Product Manager and
System Architect to ensure Feature decomposition. Understand and
operate within Agile Release Train budget. Provide input on
resourcing. * Drive continuous improvement - Has a Agile Servant
Leader Mindset. Encourages continuous improvement and participates
in Communities of Practice. Supports coaching for ART level roles.
Encourage collaboration. * Value Stream complexity - Is able to
apply agile at scale concepts to manage the aligned Features. Is
responsible for a set of Features that align to their ART. *
