This position is an excellent opportunity for new graduates to develop their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment, while directly contributing to patient care by assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. Assess and monitor patients' respiratory care needs using clinical data, patient observations and consultations with healthcare team members. Perform diagnostic tests, such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests. Operate and manage life support systems including mechanical ventilators. Educate patients and their families about lung health and disease prevention. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to adjust and deliver patient-centered care. Participate in rehabilitative and long-term care of patients with chronic respiratory issues. Proficient in the use of modern respiratory care equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must have passed the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) exam. Holds or is eligible for a state Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
