A specialized paraprofessional opportunity is available working with a middle school student who has multiple disabilities, including blindness. This role is based in Littleton, Colorado, within a K-12 school setting. The position requires a committed individual to provide physical support and personalized assistance to a larger middle school student, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: - Provide one-on-one support to a student with multiple disabilities, including blindness. - Assist with physical support needs throughout the school day. - Support toileting and diapering as required. - Adapt to varied assignments across different school sites and age groups as needed. - Maintain reliable and punctual attendance, with a start time of 8:00 a.m. - Comply with immediate fingerprinting and background checks post-offer acceptance. Qualifications: - Minimum of one full year of experience working within school classrooms. - Experience supporting students with significant or severe disabilities is strongly preferred. - Must be male to meet student-specific support requirements. - Reliable personal transportation is necessary. - Flexibility to be reassigned to different school sites and age groups. - Must provide two completed professional RefAssured references with current statusonly candidates with these references ready will be considered. - Candidates should include their current location in the application. This contract position runs from ASAP until May 22, 2026. Candidates must be comfortable working under the guidelines established for paraprofessionals in the Littleton area and comply with all district requirements, including background screening.
