The Scientific Writers primary responsibility is translating complex scientific data from pre-clinical drug discovery studies in rodents into clear and concise technical reports that help our clients make informed decisions about their drug discovery programs. The individual in this role will work across sites with scientific staff, principal investigators, and clients to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and professional appearance of all documents, adhering to strict templates, standards, and project timelines. Other responsibilities may include developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to in vivo and in vitro procedures as well as developing templates to improve workflows and increase efficiency. May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a related discipline (Physiology, Pharmacology, Immunology, etc)
• At least 2 years of experience pre-clinical in vivo models of disease
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience
• Past preclinical, scientific, and/or technical writing preferred but not required
• In-depth experience with Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of GraphPad Prism Skills
  • Understanding of in vivo models of multi-system rodent physiology, immunology, and/or neuroscience, histopathology, and in vitro analyses of pathobiology and disease biomarkers
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data across a range of therapeutic areas including, but not limited to, cardiometabolic syndrome, irritable bowel disease, liver fibrosis, neuroscience, osteoarthritis, pulmonary fibrosis, renal injury, rheumatoid arthritis, and obesity and diabetes
  • Ability to adhere to strict templates, standards, and aggressive project timelines
  • Strong organizational, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills in a cross-functional team
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others across different company sites to ensure document accuracy, consistency, and professional appearance consistent with corporate standards
  • Scientific discipline, technical rigor, and professional integrity *This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the persons relevant experience and/or education level. This is an exempt role paying $69,700-83,600/year.
