Summary/Objective: The VP of Brand, Marketing, and Communications leads brand positioning, creative development of marketing campaigns, strategic brand initiatives, market research, and marketing in support of the delivery of Elevation's Credit Union Strategic Plan. This individual is responsible for the direct management, supervision, and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives that advance our brand and competitive position. Success requires a 'thinking-doer,' a highly collaborative management style, and the ability to build and sustain constructive partnerships with colleagues. This leader will be inspirational, proactive, growth minded and able to take the organization to the next level. The portfolio includes B2C, B2B, and B2B2C products, multi-cultural segments, and digital and brick & mortal channels. The successful candidate will partner closely with other departments, including Business Lines, Business Intelligence, IT, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Operations, HR etc. to align, execute and oversee results delivery. Essential Functions include:
      • Plan, develop, implement and monitor overall brand, marketing, and communications plans and strategies to deliver business results, impact, and profitable growth
      • Oversee and manage function resources and budget; optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and sufficiency of function spend/investments (including working/non-working, paid/earned, above/below the line). Prepare and socialize regular reporting with key stakeholders
      • Participate in developing overall strategic plan to ensure and drive member growth and retention per organizational goals and objectives for B2C, B2B, and B2B2C offerings
      • Manage and direct brand, marketing, and communications teams and goals; KPI development, training and development, mentoring, hiring, performance management
      • Proactively asses and develop plans to respond to market trends; leverage insights to provide innovative and creative solutions, test and learn experimentation with new campaigns, platforms, tools or techniques
      • Oversee market and consumer research strategy and approach to ensure actionable insights drive plans and strategies for brand, campaigns, consumer needs, and touchpoints in partnership with business intelligence and product & segment strategy teams
      • Oversee and direct the development of integrated advertising/promotion, marketing content, campaigns, collateral materials, member educational programming, social media, digital marketing, PR/Communications, etc. aligned with product and organizational priorities.
      • Collaborate with the organization to unleash the brand and personality across all touchpoints
      • Oversee the development and activation of multi-cultural segment acquisition strategies
      • Establish functional operational processes and policies that are compliant, efficient, clarify roles/responsibilities/handoffs, remove bottlenecks, and improve speed to market
      • Provide strategic guidance for the brand and website presence
      • Ensure compliance to marketing, data privacy, company and industry regulations
      • Oversee strategic agency & vendor relationships and performance; establish and maintain strong working relationships with key vendors, outside services, professional organizations, and trade organizations in support of strategy delivery
      • Ensure optimal proactive earned media via public relations and communications strategy
      • Coordinates representation of function of corporate projects, including communication to appropriate stakeholders Reports to: Chief Experience Officer (CXO) Manages: Brand, Marketing, and Communications Teams Strategic and Commercial Acumen, Executing Results, Leading Cross-Functional Teams, Building Partnerships, Influencing, Initiating Action, Decision Making, Quality Orientation, Driving for Results, Adaptability Required Education and Experience:
        • Minimum of 15 years' executive-level experience in financial services, marketing, brand and communications
        • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a results-driven senior marketing, brand, communications leadership roles
        • Thorough understanding of financial services industry including credit union/banking products and services preferred
        • Experience if developing brand, marketing, and communications growth strategies in the financial services industry
        • Deep knowledge of financial services segments/product strategies, insights, analytics, business planning - in both B2B and B2C environments
        • Experience overseeing the optimization of brand, marketing, communications operations, process development, KPI development
        • Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategies and business plans
        • Excellent leadership and coaching skills
        • A proven track record of delivering business impact, optimization of marketing investments
        • Demonstrable experience growing multi-cultural segments
        • Executive level communication, interpersonal, and supervisory abilities
        • Ability to collaboratively navigate and lead in a matrixed organization
        • Excellent leadership and relationship building skills
        • Ability to foster effective working relationships with internal and external parties
        • Ability to motivate, influence others and make decisions
        • Experience in developing marketing & sales strategy using CRM software-based platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, etc. required
        • Ability to manage and prioritize many marketing and communications needs concurrently, perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, think strategically, and meet deadlines with quality deliverables Preferred Education and Experience:
          • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment Physical Requirements: Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full time / 40 hours per week Classification: Exempt Location: Elevations Support Center; Broomfield, CO-- Compensation: The minimum point of the budgeted range is $123,975 + annual bonus.
