Ref ID: 605013Classification: Staff AccountantCompensation: $33.25 to $38.50 hourlyRobert Half is looking to bring a long-term contract / temporary Staff Accountant with exceptional organization skills and know-how into a growing organization. As a Staff Accountant, you will prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. You will have responsibility for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. You will assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies. In addition, you will take part in compliance, review schedules for the reporting processes, and interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits. This position is very involved as it will produce Cash Flow projections, Budgets, and Financial Statements. Based in the Broomfield, Colorado region, this company offers an engaging and mulit-faceted opportunity where effort is rewarded.What you get to do every day- Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments- Manage the design and creation of balance sheet analysis and communicate reports to management- Analyze and coordinate a variety of financial data, and report it in a useful and understandable manner- Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested- Complete month end close, journal entries, without supervision- Be responsible for account reconciliations including prepaid expenses, payroll, and other assignments- Organize capital lease and monthly payment schedules- Help with the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP- Partake in annual closing processes- Maintain fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation
